Prepare your photo
Three quick steps can make the process faster at the machine.
Choose a suitable photo
- Use a clear, high-resolution image with good brightness and contrast.
- Choose one or two main subjects that are not too small.
- Leave space around faces for the circular crop.
- Keep important details away from the corners.
- Avoid blurry, dark, heavily compressed images or screenshots with lots of empty space.
Prepare your caption
- Keep the wording short and readable.
- Check names, dates and spelling carefully.
- Create a ready-to-use image in Instagram Stories, Canva or another editing app.
- Save it to Downloads, Favourites or another easy-to-find folder.

What is a DIY Medallion?
A personalised metallic keepsake with a 50mm diameter, featuring a photo and design you create yourself at our self-service machine.
How is the image printed?
Your design is printed directly onto the medallion using UV printing for a crisp, full-colour finish.
How do I upload my photo?
Scan the QR code on the machine, then choose a photo from your phone. You can crop, reposition, add text and preview the design before printing.
How long does printing take?
Printing takes less than 60 seconds after you finish your design and payment.
Are my photos stored?
No. Uploaded images are not retained after your session.
Which finishes and reverse designs are available?
Availability varies. The current reverse design includes “I Love You” in multiple languages.
Does it include a case or display stand?
No. A protective case and display stand are not included.
Can I wear it as a pendant or use it as a keychain?
No. It is designed as a decorative keepsake only.
How can I pay?
The machine is cashless. It accepts Visa, Mastercard, PayNow, WeChat Pay and Alipay.
Can I make one immediately?
Yes, provided the machine has stock. No appointment or advance order is needed.
